Tesla Paint Protection Film Swapped From Booo to Wooo!!

After having a sub-par paint protection installation done at another shop, the owner of this Tesla Model 3 came to Jay’s to have the inferior install removed and replaced. We wanted to document this Tesla paint protection project and show you what it looked like when it arrived, and what it looked like when we finished.

When it first arrived it didn’t look so bad at first glance, but lets take a closer look.

You can see in the picture below the beginning of lifted edges on the bottoms of the doors.

Not even sure what this is. Looks like an attempt to protect the area around the door handle with a clumsy square piece of paint protection.

Once the paint protection was completely removed, we completed a paint correction to prepare it for the new bespoke install we would do.

The lower area of this door has been protected. Look at that beautiful shine.
