Black Audi S8’s Finish Resurrected & Protected with SunTek & Cquartz

We think black cars are beautiful, but when this Audi S8 arrived it left a lot to be desired. The finish was swirled and scratched and did not have much gloss. We needed to resurrect and then protect this car with a paint correction, SunTek paint protection film and Cquartz paint coating to reveal the beauty hiding underneath all that haze in the finish. As we normally do, we started this process with a decontamination bath to remove any surface contaminants from the paint.

After the entire vehicle’s paint surfaces were corrected, it was time to move on to the protection phase. We installed a custom cut SunTek Ultra paint protection film to cover all body panels. Our signature installation covers complete panels in one piece whenever possible to avoid any seams or edges. Check out some of these pictures taken during installation of some of the panels.

After the SunTek paint protection film is applied and allowed to cure, we finalize the entire process with a coating of Cquartz Finest Reserve. This product provides a gloss that lasts for years, provides stain resistance, hydrophobicity and creates an unmatched dirt-repellency so it is easier to keep your car clean.
