Ceramic coating and Paint Protection Film (PPF) both help your car look its best, but they do it in different ways. Knowing the difference can help you decide which is right for your ride.
Purpose and Function
Ceramic coating is a clear layer that goes on top of your paint to enhance shine and make cleaning easier. It helps repel dirt, dust, and light debris. Paint protection film, on the other hand, is a thicker, more durable layer designed to take the hits from rocks, road debris, and scratches, keeping your paint looking like new.
Appearance
Ceramic coating keeps your paint glossy and rich without changing the color or finish. PPF is clear, but it can be glossy, matte, or color-changing depending on the version you choose. Matte PPF even gives your car a satin finish while still guarding against wear.
Durability and Maintenance
