Porsche GT3 Receives Full Car Clear Bra & Quartz Ceramic Coating

A car like the new Porsche GT3 is not only about looking great, but also performing great. Well, even though this car was new, it needed help in the looks and the performance areas. The car was showing signs of paint damage likely caused from transport and ill-trained wash techniques utilized at the dealership. The car was marred with paint swirls and scratches that took away from the stunning black metallic paint job and and the car appear dull and lifeless. This GT3 was a perfect candidate for the Ultimate New Car Prep as it will breath new life into the appearance of this otherwise beautiful car and protect it to keep it looking that way.

Our Ultimate New Car Prep includes a full paint correction, full car clear bra using SunTek Clear Bra, windows tinted with SunTek CIR Ceramic IR Window Film and then the interior and exterior were treated with our Gyeon Mohs+ Ceramic Quartz Coating. The first step is to prep the car. This starts with a complete car cleaning that includes a foam bath as seen below and a clay bar to remove all contaminants from the paint surface before we begin.

Next, we begin the process of correcting the paint and removing the swirl marks and scratches. You can see by the following before and after pictures the micro-scratching that was throughout the paint and then what the same panel looked like once we completed the correction.

Now that the paint is pristine, we move onto the full car clear bra installation. We take out time to install this film to offer full coverage while hiding and trace that the product is even installed whenever possible. Having this protection without noticing it is a result of products used, installation techniques and full panel coverage so that no seams are visible. You can see from the pictures below how we install large pieces that cover full body panels and hide the seams between body panels.

Now that the paint is corrected and protected, it is time to apply some performance coatings that will help keep it looking that way.
