Range Rover Has Paint Corrected, Protected and Preserved

There is a certain regal aspect to a nice Range Rover. This one was showing some wear when it arrived, so we put together a plan to make this luxury SUV ready to transport the Queen again. To do this, we plan to follow a sequence of getting this vehicle’s paint corrected, protected and preserved.

We begin all of these procedures with a thorough foam bath and paint decontamination. This allows us to see exactly what the condition of the paint is and take appropriate steps to restore it.

After the foam bath, the paint revealed many scratches and swirls. This is what it looked like before.

Now, we begin preparing the vehicle for the paint protection installation. We carefully remove all badges, vents and things like this so that we can provide you with full coverage without the unsightly seams by using a kit that cuts around these pieces. Most kits just have cutouts around these pieces and you will have a visible seam as a result.

Also, to avoid any visible seams, we use larger pieces so we can cover entire panels in one pieces, like this fender you see below.

The same goes for the hood. We do them in one piece so you do not see any seams.

This client also had us protect the C-Pillar so they would not become damaged.

Now, with the paint corrected and protected, we move onto sealing the entries vehicle with a Gtechniq Crystal Serum Black paint coating. You can see how this metallic paint job is just stunning with the clarity and shine.

The final step is to cure the paint coating with infra-red IR lamps. This ensures the product cures to provide the best protection.
