Audi TT RS Gets Window Tint, Paint Protection & Ceramic Paint Coating

Whatever you do, don’t confuse this car with the Audi TT models of the past. This thing is a SERIOUS sports car! For starters, it packs nearly 400 horsepower and hustles from 0-60 in just 3.6 seconds. In addition, it comes with some eye catching bodywork to compliment all that performance. We couldn’t wait to get our hands on this beauty to do a paint correction followed by window tint, paint protection film and a ceramic paint coating. Follow along as we explain what we used on this beauty.

Before we can get started on the paint correction, we treat the car to a thorough decontamination bath. This wash will remove the surface contaminants that can impact our ability to get a proper paint correction done.

Now, we can get down to business. Paint correction takes out some remaining factory paint flaws as well as any scratching that has occurred since the vehicle arrived at the dealership. We are often surprised to see just how much correction needs to be done even on brand new vehicles. Paint correction is a labor intensive process which utilizes the most advanced compounds and polishes. These are applied either by a random orbital or rotary polisher designed to remove most defects in paint. Bringing back that shine and luster which most vehicles lack by leveling out the clear coat and will result in a richer and lustrous finish.

Once the paint correction is complete, we begin the process of installing SunTek Ultra paint protection film to the entire front end. SunTek Ultra protects vehicle surfaces from damage caused by rocks, gravel, salt or insects. This Product is designed to protect your paint even in the harshest environments while maintaining that high gloss shine that you desire. We install this premium film using our signature installation techniques to hide any edges whenever possible to make the film visually disappear on the vehicle.

The next step is tinting the windows with a premium ceramic window tint called SunTek CIR. SunTek CIR offers a terrific factory look combined with enhanced heat rejection and UV protection. This is a window tint with performance that is worthy of the vehicle we are installing it on.

Last, but certainly not least, we implement a Gtechniq Crystal Serum protective paint coating on the entire vehicle. Crystal Serum is an extremely durable, high gloss coating, that will provide years of enhancement and surface protection for this vehicle.
