Tesla 75D Receives Jay’s Signature New Car Protection Package

Some people assume when they buy a new car when its ordered that it is as perfect upon delivery as it will every be. That simply is not true. Between the final inspection at the factory and the day you take delivery, a car may have led a pretty tough life. From transport to being washed on the service center, a car often is far from perfect by the time you get handed the keys. That is where the Jay’s Signature New Car Protection Package comes in.

We turn back the clock to when the car was near perfect at the factory final inspection and then implement protection to keep it looking that way. Follow along as we take this brand new 2017 Tesla 75D from an “off the lot” condition to the near perfect specimen that Elon Musk intended.

The following pictures show some of the damage we encounter on new cars that was also present on this Tesla before we started this Signature New Car Protection Package.

Sanding Marks Before

The very first thing we do is correct the paint to remove any of these imperfections. As you can see in the picture below, after paint correction, the paint is near perfect and ready to be protected.

Here are some buffer trails where someone improperly polished out this section.

Once the paint is fully corrected, it is time to move onto protection. This particular client chose to have all painted surfaces protected with our SUNTEK Ultra clear paint protection film. Now that the car is fully protected, we move onto the preservation phase. This is where we take all the hard work that we have done to make this car look perfect and coat the car to help it stay looking this great for many miles to come. For this process, we chose to coat all painted surfaces, including wheels and brake calipers, with CQuartz Finest Ceramic Paint Coating. This will give the car a lasting finish.
