Rocketship Protected from Rocks and Infrared Radiation with Suntek

The Tesla Model S is a certifiable rocket ship. These things accelerate so fast that they leave many exotic cars in their wake. With speed and acceleration like that, you can end up with some front end dings, scuffs and scratches from rocks insects and road debris. The owner of this Tesla wanted to protect the leading edge of the car from this type of damage, so we installed a full custom front end Suntek Ultra paint protection film kit. This kit covers the full hood, front bumper, headlights, full front fenders and mirrors.
Because no one wants to see seams on a car as beautiful as this, we completely cover the panels and wrap the edges. That way, you get complete coverage and no unsightly seams. You can see in the next two pictures the full coverage being added during the installation.
The other project this owner wanted us to handle was the installation of Suntek Ceramic IR Rejecting window film. This window film will not only improve this Tesla’s looks, it will significantly reduce the heat coming through the windows and sunroof. By reducing the heat coming in, the use of the air conditioning can be reduced. As a final step, we cleaned the car and applied a slice sealant spray to help preserve the finish. As you can see, this car now not only looks great, it is protected against road damage and probably even has a slightly extended range as a result of the Suntek modifications we installed.
