Paint Correction – Protection For Corvette C8

This really great looking Chevrolet Corvette C8 recently came in to get a complete paint correction – protection. As you will see, the paint was in really bad shape, so the first thing we needed to do was correct the paint to remove the defects. That meant some significant buffing on a completely decontaminated surface. That being said, the first step is a comprehensive foam bath to remove any contaminants from the exterior surface.

Look at the picture below to see how bad the paint surface was. We really needed to correct this before applying paint protection film or these defects would be trapped below the film.

To get out these defects requires attention to detail using the proper products and the right lighting to bring the paint back to be near flawless.

Take a look at these pictures after the correction was completed. The depth and gloss was restored and ready for paint protection.

Now, we move on to a full-body wrap using SunTek Reaction Paint Protection Film. We do this using large format material to do the install in as few pieces as possible to eliminate visible edges or seams and leaving the vehicle look as good as it did before the protection was installed. Once the car was completed, it was simply stunning! The paint looked great and now it was protected to stay looking that way. Check out these pictures taken just before we delivered it back to the customer.
