Do you think that new cars are near flawless the day you take delivery? Take this brand new, 2017 Ford F150 Platinum Edition with only 180 miles. This car was brought directly to our shop for our New Car Prep and what it revealed was typical. The paint had numerous scratches, swirl marks and paint defects that were clearly visible once brought under the shop lights for investigation. As you can see below, the damage was fairly significant, but hardly uncommon as far as what we see when new cars arrive at the shop.
To get this damage out will require a multi-stage paint correction. In the following picture, we show a door with 50% as it arrived and the other half after correction. The difference is amazing!
Once all the panels look like the corrected side above, we followed it with a full front end application of Suntek Ultra Paint Protection Film. We custom make and install these kits to provide you with optimal protection while hiding seams and lines so that you can hardly tell anything is even there. As you can see in the pictures below, we are very meticulous in our work ensuring each and every surface the client desires to be protected is covered as fully and as invisibly as possible.
Once the paint protection is applied and has time to cure, we apply a Cquartz Professional Ceramic Coating to the entire truck including the areas with paint protection film. Not only will this coating ensure that the paint stays glossy and swirl free, it will make the vehicle easier to clean and protect the surface from contamination and damage from bugs, bird droppings, acid rain, etc.
