Corvette Grand Sport Gets Paint Correction and Protection

Many of you likely think that your vehicle is as perfect as it will ever be the day you pick it up from the dealership. Typically, nothing could be further from the truth. Between the factory and you taking possession, the vehicle is transported, prepped and then handled by dealership employees. Often, even new vehicles already have a fair amount of damage to the painted surfaces. Take this brand new Corvette Grand Sport. This car came in with 80 miles on the odometer and it was already showing some severe defects straight off the dealer’s lot. This car was going to need a full paint correction followed by a paint protection consisting of a clear bra and paint coating.

Before we can even get started, we had to give the car a thorough cleaning and decontamination. After that, we will take our time to completely correct the painted surfaces back to a flawless finish. Once the paint is near perfect, we will install a SunTek PPF Ultra paint protection film. To finish it off, we will coat the paint, wheels and brake calipers with our Exclusive CQuartz Finest Ceramic Paint Coating. That’s a lot of work, so lets get started.

Now that the paint is corrected, we begin to prep for the Suntek PPF Ultra paint protection film. We remove mirrors, badges and vents to do a seamless install.
