This Dodge Charger Widebody Scat Pack came in to get the paint corrected, protected and preserved as well as have the windows tinted. Follow us along on the journey as we take this stunning car through the process.

The first step we always do in this journey is treating the vehicle to a decontamination foam bath. This process allows us to loosen and remove any surface contaminants on the paint. It gives us the ability to inspect the paint surface and determine what type and how much paint correction will need to be done.

Before we begin the paint correction, we tinted the windows. We utilized 3M Ceramic IR window film on all the side and rear windows and 3M Crystalline window film on the windshield. This combination will not only have this car looking great, it will also have industry leading heat and glare rejection. As 3M likes to say, you will “Look Hot and Stay Cool”.

After the paint correction to remove any defects, scratches, swirls, etc. in the paint that are possible. This only makes sense before you apply paint protection or a ceramic paint coating as any defects that exist pre-install will be trapped beneath the ppf or the ceramic coating. We want the paint to look a good as it possibly can before we begin the protection and preservation process.

Once the paint correction is complete, we begin the paint protection film application. For this vehicle we utilized the new SunTek Reaction PPF. This is a completely reinvented product that merges the super hydrophobicity of ceramic coating with premium, self-healing paint protection film. It also features 30% more scratch resistance than other top brands and best-in-class rock chip protection, Reaction stands up head-on to flying gravel, salt, grit and more.

One thing you will notice about our paint protection installation is the attention to detail. We work hard to provide complete protection without visible seams or edges to give you an installation that literally disappears on the car.

The final step in this journey is the preservation stage. We applied Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra Ceramic Paint Coating on all exterior painted surfaces. This coating is the best preservation coating you can get. It keeps your car looking glossy and new, prolonging the life of your paintwork’s perfect finish.
