Dodge Challenger Gets Paint Correction & Ceramic Paint Coating

If this car doesn’t grab your attention, you are blind! Not only does this Dodge Challenger Widebody have stunning lines, it has a beautiful red metallic paint job. The owner of this vehicle wanted to enhance the great looks this vehicle already had and make it easier to keep looking that way. After looking the vehicle over, we determined that it needed a multi-stage paint correction to remove some flaws in the surfaces. After we get the paint near perfect, we would use a ceramic paint coating on not only the vehicle paint, but also the wheels and brake calipers. In addition, we added a protection to the interior surfaces and glass.

However, before we jump into paint correction, we need to use a decontamination bath to get the vehicle surfaces prepared for the upcoming surfaces.

Also, before we began paint correcting, the owner also wanted us to apply some 3M Color Stable Window Tint to give the car an enhanced, sleek look while reducing the internal heat and protecting the surfaces from sun damage.

OK, lets get into the correction phase! This is what the paint looked like under close scrutiny once it was decontaminated. While not horrible, it can be MUCH better!

Once we completed a thorough multi-stage correction on all panels, we moved onto the ceramic paint coating. This coating not only gives the surfaces a proper brilliance, it coats them so that they are protected so they can stay looking that way. It also makes the vehicle much easier to keep clean as it becomes harder for dirt and contaminants to adhere to the surfaces.
