Some cars are meant for a life at the race track and this Mustang GT350R is going to be one of them. Logging miles at the track can be very rough on a car both mechanically and cosmetically. The owner of this car wanted to get the car looking great, and the take measures to keep it looking good even with the track time it would be doing. The owner did not want to compromise when it came to protecting this car, so we went with top of the line, exclusive car care products across the board. With this in mind, the first thing we did was thoroughly clean the car and performed a complete paint polishing to prepare the paint to be protected.

A car that is destined for the track will typically end up with well-worn paint from all the debris being kicked up from the track surface being hit at high rates of speed. To combat damage to the paint, we chose to cover all painted surfaces with Suntek Ultra Paint Protection Film. You will see in the pictures below, when we say ALL surfaces, we mean ALL surfaces!

After all the surfaces were protected with the Suntek Ultra paint protection film, we went over the complete car, including wheels and brake calipers, with Cquartz Finest Reserve paint coatings. This product will protect the finish of this car to an even greater extent and allow for fast and easy clean-ups after the track days.

As a last step, we installed Suntek CIR Window Film on all of the windows. Most tracks do not have a lot of shade, so keeping cool inside the car can be tough. By using this innovative product from Suntek, you can block a significant amount of heat from the sun from ever entering the car. This will allow you to keep your cool even when the action on the track gets hot!
