The first step was to fully prep the vehicle for a full front end application of paint protection. While many shops install paint protection films, what happens before the first piece is ever applied might be some of the most important steps.
The team at Jay’s Detail begin with a thorough cleaning of the vehicle to remove all loose contaminants. We follow this with a clay bar of all painted surfaces. Clay bar removes all paint contaminants that are adhered or attached in such a way that a normal wash will not remove them. Now We Move on to the Preservation Phase
After the clear bra is finished being installed, we applied Cquartz to the entire vehicle including the rims. This requires us to remove the wheels to treat both the inside and the outside of the rim. Again, this is what separates the top end jobs from the discount work.
