BMW 640i Gets Multistage Paint Correction and Ceramic Coating

CALL (210) 863-1633

By any measure, a BMW 640i is a stunning car. However, this one was looking a little tired from the paint finish being neglected. When we say neglected, it does not necessarily mean the owner was intentionally neglecting the paint. But after a period of time, going through automatic car washed and not having the car regularly waxed can take its toll. For this car, that was apparent in the swirl mark scratches apparent throughout the entire body. This 640i was brought in to have a multi-stage paint correction, Cquartz Finest ceramic coating for the paint and FlyBy Forte protection for the windshield.

The first thing we needed to do after thoroughly cleaning and going over the car with a clay bar was a multi-step paint correction on all surfaces. You can see by the before and after photos below that the difference is quite noticeable.

In the picture below, you can see a direct side by side comparison we took while in the process of correcting the paint on this car. While the left side is far from complete in this photo, you can see the significant difference the correction is making.

Now that the paint was corrected, we needed to apply a paint coating to help keep it that way. We applied a ceramic paint coating from CQuartz Finest ceramic coating to add a layer of protection that will prevent this paint from getting these scratches and dull look that it had before the correction.

We followed the paint coating with an application of FlyBy Forte to the windshield. FlyBy Forte is an entirely new technologically advanced windshield coating designed for extreme resistance to all that mother nature may throw at it! Forte has been tested to over 40,000 real time wiper cleaning cycles, is UV stable, highly chemical resistant, and provides resistance to scratches and minor chips. Forte is the ULTIMATE in windshield and glass coatings! Unlike traditional glass coatings, which attach to the surface, Forte fully bonds by penetrating the top surface of glass, merging and transforming it into a hydrophobic smooth surface. Flyby Forte does not allow chattering, wiper noise, or degradation of the glass. Expected durability is up to 2 years.

As you will see in the pictures below, this BMW 640i is not back to looking the way it was deigned and will be turning heads everywhere it goes.
